Collaborations

An important mission of C.A.S.E. is to increase and promote a network of collaborations and partnerships in both the public and private sectors, which will enhance the knowledge base and services available for adoptive families.

C.A.S.E. collaborations include:

  The Freddie Mac Foundation, McLean, VA
Pre- and post-adoption support services for families interested in adopting through the Wednesday’s Child program. The Kids’ Adoption Network Carnival held annually in National Adoption Month.

  Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Social Services and United Methodist Family Services
As a service provider of the Adoptive Family Preservation program, C.A.S.E. offers free counseling and support services to children and families to preserve adoptive placements in Northern Virginia. C.A.S.E. also provides training across the state of Virginia.

  Prince George’s Department of Social Services and Montgomery County Department of Child Welfare, MD
The Lifelines for Kids Project, a federally-funded 3-year model of support for children moving through concurrent planning to permanent adoptive homes.

  Local parent groups representing international and domestic adoptions
C.A.S.E. provides educational articles and training to groups such as Families with Children from China, Families with Russian and Ukrainian Adoptions, Families for Private Adoption, and Latin American Parents Association.
