Your  teenage years can be like a bumpy ride.  The cool thing about being a teenager is realizing that how you feel and how you act are two different things.  You can't change the way you feel right away.  But when deciding what to do, you always have choices.

Everybody feels this way sometimes.  Make a list of the things you feel good about in your life.

TALK ABOUT IT

Find a friend or adult to help you work things out.

FIX IT

Try something new that you've always wanted to do.

People keep asking me why I'm adopted.

People are very curious about adoption.  Often they  have many questions and few answers.  That can get tiring.

SPEAK OUT

Teach them something about adoption, like: "There are 5 million adopted people in the United States" or "The guy who created Wendy's was adopted!
