Your  teenage years can be like a bumpy ride.  The cool thing about being a teenager is realizing that how you feel and how you act are two different things.  You can't change the way you feel right away.  But when deciding what to do, you always have choices.

LONELY

My friends don't really understand how I feel.

LOOK INSIDE

Think about why you feel the way your feel.

OPEN UP

Share your feelings with a friend or an adult that you trust. Stick with it until they understand.

REVERSE IT

Try really understanding how someone else feels.

Sometimes it feels like no one is adopted but me.

CHECK IT OUT

Ask your parents and friends who else is adopted.

REALITY CHECK

Remember, there are 5 million adopted people in the United States.
